The designer featured jaw-dropping, patterned opened-toe boots that will match every look in the coming season. Proving this thought wrong is, Christian Louboutin shoes collection inspired by  Christian Louboutin’s Alice in Wonderland, which has everything from the floating, futuristic soles to the bright pastel patterns. If you’re anything at all like me you will be hot-footing it down to the shops at the drop of a hat to snap up that essential piece of clothing for your spring collection.

But now it’s time to seriously concentrate on one particular aspect of your wardrobe – shoes.

And if you needed an excuse for splashing out on a fabulous pair of designer shoes, the arrival of spring is certainly a good one.

My fellow fashionistas over at the Independent advise that the once ubiquitous ballet flat is set to be the shoe of the spring – I will most certainly be splashing out on a pair in this season’s key colour, pistachio.

In my opinion, the obvious choice for any fashionista would be a pair from the Jimmy Choo collaboration with Hunter – embossed with the label’s signature crocodile print (fake, of course) and branded with a gold buckle and fun leopard print lining, they have to be the epitome of chic.
