Spring is here – time to get shoe shopping

If you’re anything at all like me you will be hot-footing it down to the shops at the drop of a hat to snap up that essential piece of clothing for your spring collection.
But now it’s time to seriously concentrate on one particular aspect of your wardrobe – shoes.
And if you needed an excuse for splashing out on a fabulous pair of designer shoes, the arrival of spring is certainly a good one.
My fellow fashionistas over at the Independent advise that the once ubiquitous ballet flat is set to be the shoe of the spring – I will most certainly be splashing out on a pair in this season’s key colour, pistachio.
“But what about those rainy days?” I hear you cry. Fear not, fashion followers, I am well aware that ballet pumps will certainly not cut the mustard in a good old British torrential downpour.
That’s why I’m sticking to the advice of those over at the Indy, who suggest every girl should be purchasing a pair of Hunter wellies this spring. As well as being possibly the most practical item you will ever purchase, these little numbers will look great at a festival.
In my opinion, the obvious choice for any fashionista would be a pair from the Jimmy Choo collaboration with Hunter – embossed with the label’s signature crocodile print (fake, of course) and branded with a gold buckle and fun leopard print lining, they have to be the epitome of chic.
