If you know me, you would understand what a shoe freak I am, so this post was pure delight! I worked in Delman, the fancy ladies shoe salon at Bergdorf Goodman in NY back in the early 80’s where gorgeous shoes were part of design.

The above picture of these Manolo Blahnik shoes isn’t the best, but the front of the shoe has two hearts that rest side by side on the upper foot when the shoes are worn. Love it! Manolo rarely strays outside of elegant and beautiful, but fairly simple designs, so it’s a treat to see something so whimsical from the famous shoemaker. The rest of the collection features very flattering and sophisticated designs. Making shoes that flatter a woman’s feet and legs are part of his signature style, it was he who brought back the stiletto heel in 1974. I like the whole collection, but the black and white bootie is FAB!
